This Neuroanatomy course for practitioners of Integrative Manual Therapy represents a self directed / student manual guided learning process. This manual is designed to be used in conjunction with other readings and auditory texts. Each chapter will take approximately 3-5 hours to complete the reading, listening and writing assignments.
The study guide covers neuroanatomy in general and many specific aspects of the nervous system which are relevant to the practice of Integrative Manual Therapy. It includes references to other Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy courses and techniques, the effective use of which relies on a strong knowledge of neuroanatomy.
Included in each chapter of the student manual is nervous system anatomy, interactions with other systems of the body, clinical relevance and significance, assessment tools and considerations, case study ideas, and research topics and questions to stimulate further study as well as quotes and references to other research material.
This student guide is available, for a fee, to any IMT Practitioner but certain requirements must be met in order to receive a certificate of course completion and satisfy the Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy diploma requirements.
