This course addresses the treatment of states of tension on neural tissue. Unique techniques have been developed by Dr. Sharon (Weiselfish) Giammatteo during the past several years for improved function of the following structures: nerve roots, the sensory and motor aspect of the cords, division and trunks of the cervical plexus, brachial plexus, lumbar plexus and sacral plexus, motor, sensory and cutaneous nerves of the upper and lower extremities, nerves of the rib cage, cranial nerves.
Acute/chronic pain and states of disability in the nervous system caused by tension on these structures can be diagnostically differentiated and successfully treated with the presented techniques. Problems such as hypomobility and fibrosis, spinal cord lesions, sensory nerve induced tactile defensiveness, peripheral motor and sensory loss and many other disorders will be improved by these techniques. Protocols to treat the following problems (and more) are presented: Spine pain and disability, headaches and migraines.
